Version Help Please

OK first I live in the United States, but I bought the English version of anno 1701 in Antwerp Belgium. So can anybody tell me how I can find out which version of the patch I should use? US or UK or Something else. Doing a registry search the only thing I could find was Language = ENG and Version = 1.00.

Hi and welcome to the forum Marlin32 :halloha:

When you have the english version, you need the UK Patch :go:
You can't install another version, (except you would change the Language in the registry. But then some errors could happen. I wouldn't fo that...)

I bought a non-English version from eBay - was advertised to work in US and it does. Installed as English version, turns out to be Hungarian version, at least the Hungarian patch worked, so go figure :cool:
