Patch 1.02 / French Version

Hello all !

After installing the patch v1.02 on the French version of the game I can see that there are Italian texts here and there...(Options menu, during in game play...)

Betty released a fix for the 1.01 patch, what about 1.02 ?

Lots of people complain about it on French Forums.

Actually we don't know anything about this language problems... :scratch:

Perhaps you could reinstal the game and then install patch 1.02 directly.
But: Don't forget to save your profile, savegames and screenshots. :wink:

Sorry for asking but I'm confused on knowing which files/folders I should save in order not to lose anything...

In most games the folders are in your Save/Save Game folder and especially one that has the user name you use for playing. Don't neglect the "Index" file either as what you have done prior is stored in that file.

I've just deinstalled / reinstalled the game then directly applying patch v1.02 and the Italian text remains, as I said this problem is reported on many french forums and is not due only to me.

Sorry I can't be much more help as this is not to do with your system or the game so much as the patch and that I have no control over. I'll leave it up to those who are more involved with patch issues hence save to say, I'm sorry you have this issue. :sad:

I confirm the problem. I just did the reinstall and i have the italian text too. Seems like there is again a problem with the patch. :scratch:

Same thing... I have also noticed that the "legal advice" during game loading is also in italian.... :cool:

And i have an other problem... the U key doesn' work... I can't asign it in the config screen and in the game the U key don't upgrade my building.

Hi!

I'm french and I have exactly the same problem (like many french people). After having to install the french version of the 1.02 patch, some texts appeared in italian (like those on the linerjac's screenshot).

I hope you'll publish a hotfix as soon as possible for this patch, as you had done for the 1.01 french patch :wink:

In patch 1.02 they apparently disabled assignments for the "U" key, you can however select another key to be assigned as your upgrade key. :go:

What is your problem with assigning it to another key on your keyboard?

And who said it is a bug?

Maybe they wanted it to be that way.

In the options menu, just select key assignments and pick akey that is not being used for something else and make that your upgrade hotkey!
