this may have already been asked and answered, but is the addon going to be released in the United States?
I saw the screens, and I like it.
Already been asked, but nobody has the answer! Aspyr has distribution rights, and according to responses reported back by folks in the Patch 1.02 thread, they have no info regarding the expansion!

Yes, and I recently stated it's release date in another thread as well, but his question was:

Yeah, this is a matter of concern to me as well. I just started playing the game again after an extended absence and I have to say I'm very pleased with the patch changes. I dearly hope we in the US market are able to get our hands on the expansion when it comes out.
Does anyone know what the material difference between the US and UK releases of the game are, incidentally? I see that they have separate patches, so I assume that a UK version of the expansion (should it NOT be available in the US) wouldn't work with a US copy of the game?

The titles are different, the distributor's are different, I think that is the main differences that cause the need for separate patches. If the expansion is not picked up by Aspyr(and that may be a mute point now that Ubisoft owns Sunflowers and the rights to the Anno series of games, plus 30% of Related Designs, Ubisoft may do their own distribution), I will be ordering the UK version and checking to see if I can change the registry and get the UK expansion to install with the US original. If it does not, then it will not be a waste of money to me, because I also have the UK version.

Release it or don't release it in the United States, just release it in English and make sure it works with the United States version and I'll buy it from whatever country I have to buy it from to get it.
