Question about the ballistics skill

Does the Ballistics skill increase the arrows and the dmg of the archers or only of the siege stuff (ballistas etc.)?

I just created an own thread for your question because it is a bit OT in the original one.

I actually do not have any facts to prove it, but I think it increases at least the damage of the archers (fire arrows)
