game does not work

hi guys,thought the game looked gd got it and installed it and the thing wont work.its i have a hook error and i needed to disable anti-virus which i did and still doesnt work .this is driving me crazy.

Download patch 1.05 and install it and the problem will be gone! The copy protect is causing the problem, patch 1.05 removes the copy protect!

Not always are hooks due to the copy protection though. Can be numerous other factors as well. Background programs, drivers (usually video), and so on. So, if what Doober suggests doesn't "fix" the problem, we ask you to submit your DxDiag and a list of your background programs will be the next thing. Good Luck!
