Digital Purchase?

Is there anywhere I can purchase this game online? I noticed its on Direct2Drive but for some stupid reason its for US customers only. I would very much like to download this game as the shops are now shut and I want it now.

I'm sorry, but as far as i know, there is only a german online version...


But if i can be honest: i would wait until tomorrow morning, then buy it in a shop. This is much better, because you have a DVD, a manual (there is no pdf manual) and so on... and if your harddisk would crash, you still have the DVD and have no problems getting the game again.

You are wrong there Flo, there are several places to download an English version(Gamersgate is one such), but there have been some problems with game activation and copy protect system with the download version! There are a couple of threads here about the woes befalling some of the ones who have downloaded it! :go:

Would the ADDOn be compatible with digital purchased versions (like i digitally purchase anno and go to the store and but the add on or vice versa?) or would i have to buy the CD for the addon to work?

That is the first I have seen that question! And I don't know how that would be handled. I have seen games that while installing the addon, the disc from the original game be required to install the addon.

Also the copy protect for the download versons is modified and a bit diffeent than the DVD versions, so that might be a problem and cause you to have to wait on the download version of the addon.

That is probably another one of those things you need to send an email to tech support about!
