Tips for sieges?

I'm playing as Germany, and I'm a little bored. Almost all my cities have been built up completely, and now I'm thinking of smashing someone. :biggrin: What tips can players offer on conducting a successful siege?

2 armies, 6-9 archers, rest is infranty. if enemy units are better try to make another marshal come out of city and defeat him. ;)

How do you get 2 armies to attack together?

Click on one, direct it to attack, then click on the other and have it attack!
