Russian Version

Is there anyway to get the russian version to accept a patch. I havnt seen the 1.02 for russian language.

The Hungrarian version of the patch will install over the game, but the ghame fails to load afterwards

If you try to use a differnet language patch to update the game and succeed in running the patch, the language key in your registry is also changed to match the language of the patch you used. Your game executable could be checking the registry fot the correct language key and then upon failing to find the key it was searching, srashes the start. Also you probabnly wind up with some of the language within the game being the language of the patch you used.

I am not sure who distributed the russian version, well i can not find a website for them anyway. It looks like it is NG Strategy or TM NG.

The distributor is responsible for supplying the patch, they have to adapt the patch to their original distribution of the game.

I think everybody is doing other things! The challenge is gone until the expansion comes out! After getting all the platinum medals, I have been playing 1602 again(of course there is a 1602 contest going on right now).
