R:TW concentrates on battles.
KoH on diplomacy.
R:TW just isn't KoH.

it is treu that KoH has more diplomacy options but RTW is pretty much like KoH;)

different periods of time and lesser options of nations

RTW will have many diplomatic options, probably just about as many as KoH

"Q. Can you make your own treaties?

A. You will be able to negotiate specific treaties and other agreements with other powers. This lets factions agree military treaties, trade agreements, trade cities and territory, demand tributes, pay blackmail money, swap information and so forth. Deals don't have to be symmetrical, so you can trade cash for military access. You can also intimidate lesser factions into joining you as protectorates too... maybe it's better sometimes to live on your knees than die horribly"

From the R:TW FAQ

I think both games require empire management, you need to manage your empire in R:TW or you wont get these big battles. I think these games are probably more similar then you think but each different in their owrn unique way, if you get what i mean.

yes in interviews CA Staff has stated you can have governors do the management for you if you just wanna fight battles, or you can do it all yourself. Also diplomacy is also big thing in R:TW.

Both games will be same but different time periods and different style of graphics....

This year has to many good games coming out im going to go broke!!

you can run even from zup folder, you dont have to unzip it to game derectory jast on your desctop

With this you can set nember and type of units in your army or your opponets. Your also can chuse for which fanction you going to play: Rome, Gaul or Gartage.
I tried to play for senate but camputar crashed.

I think the demo is a very poor representation of what they are promosing in the final game. No seiges, no town fights, no night fights, no seige weapons. seems strange they wouldnt add a seige battle in the demo to wet everyones appetite a little more.

Demos are not full version they are only a small teaser of what to expect.

theres a download someone in a topic were guy has gone throw the whole pak file and found out all the units, options, and names of leaders general and etc, and all the vices and virtues and etc..... so if you or I can find that thread for rest to see youll get good idea of what game has to do and stuff, but im not sure if its all cause guy went through some 7,000 pages so he might have missed few or whatever.

include a siege... hehe no way would they, thats going to be one of there biggest improvements is urban fighting and from the SS's its going to look awesome.
