Well i don't like star trek, and the games were very bad also. But i am sure some of you like it. *looks at Happy Adolf* Well i think you might like this, they are planing an online game for it Right now they are planing on a title so its called Star Trek Online. I ran acrose it while looking for games to play.

Yeah, I saw it.
But I also read that it's released in 2006.
And it's an online game. For online games you have to pay every month in order to play them.
I really got excited when I saw there will be an RPG in the Star Trek universe, but it is online. Bah.

i like mmorpg, best one so far is World of Warcraft.......and since i have a job i can afford it even the monthly.

If you want to try out a MMORPG but hate the monthly cots keep an eye out for Guild Wars. They are planning release no in the first quarter of 2005.
They won't be charging a monthly fee and the play will be skill based. IE IT doesn't matter or you play for only ten days or a year you'll still get to chose 8 skills out of your pool. Only difference is that the guy playing longer will have more choice. But this will greatly help with the time is power problem many mmorpg's face.

I'm so sad that I can't play World of Warcraft because of the monthly fee ;(
I don't have THAT much money to waste...

As far as i know Star Trek will be subscription based. But maybe if Guild Wars is a big success they'll change their mind!

Because theres nothing MASSIVE about it. (other than the sales it's going to get :p )

I'ts essentially Diablo 2 with a 3d lobby, all the quests and dungeons are instanced.

my god this is an old thread. and i'm commenting in it.

btw.. although guild wars is free monthly.. there's nothing really "massive" about it.
