Well i tried to install the english demo and when it asked me the resolution and refresh rate i forgot to test it. Bad luck my screen doesn't support 100mhz so when i launch kohdemo i can hear the sound but my screen is black with a message "out of range". I tried everything but kohdemo never ask me again about resolution and refresh rate. How can i reach the settings menu ? thanks for your help

Start -> Program Files -> Black Sea Studios -> Knights of Honor -> Configure Knights of Honor

I installed the german version, so the names of the buttons might be slightly different on your system. However, it should be manageable :go: .

That means the KoH-Demo is already installed.
Click: Start (in the lower left corner of the windows-panel) -> Program Files -> Black Sea Studios -> Knights of Honor -> Configure Knights of Honor

there is not any folder with this name. In fact there is not any installer in the demo zip file. I extract the zip file i downloaded and it creates 2 folders (packs and system), a binkw32.dll, KoHdemo and the read me file. Then i launch KoHdemo and after a loading screen i have a black screen (out of range). I know that's because i accepted the first time the default settings (1024*768 is not a problem but 100 mhz is not supported by my crappy screen).
Anyway thanks for your help !

You don't need to install the english demo, you just need to unzip and run it. When you first run the game aplication it ask for resolution.

As you, i clicked ok without text and now i have same problem.

make a manual link to the koh.exe but with appendix " /c " or run the exe from the "run..." menu with this appendix.

... or delete KoH.in2 from "c:\documents and settings\YOUR NAME\Application Data\Black Sea Studios\Knights of Honor Demo" if you are under 2k/XP or from the folder where the game executable is if you are under 9x/ME.
