Window Failure

I've been playing this demo for about 3 hours straight now (why eliminate save option, I need my sleep :p) and just now I got a message (audience with a king) and it won't close anymore. Now I can't do any audiences because this window remains open, on top of that it blocks a part of my screen.
Apart from this: I love this game already, never had this much fun since Stronghold :)

have you tried clicking on the leave audience selection? and if there isn't one.. try clicking on the screen somewhere out of that window.. that usually gets rid of the window.

Nope, tried all that, I even clicked the screen where the leave audience-button usually is located but it wouldn't work.
