whats your highest gold income

mine is 610 . i aimed my goals mostly on gold . i had 6 merchants 4 of them traded with the 4 wealthiest kingdoms :D. i had 4 provinces . all those 4 there harbours made 3gold coins. the dorfs made 1
gold coin. my farms made 1 gold coin. 2 of the provinces had silver mines. so my highest income is 610 whats yours :D. i even had 5 in kingdom power


.p.s in the meaning gold coin i didnt mean that they higher the gold income with 1 gold coin . i dont know how much its worth but i can asure its not worth 1 gold coin.

i aint got a damn euro
my highest gold income however was 1500 per month
but that was in the early middle ages
now im in the "high" middle ages (hehe)
and the gold income is pretty low
i hope the next week i'll find a source of gold
(10 euro per hour)
but dont know yet...

i had 659 in the demo today. I wus scotland and i controled ireland, scotland, wales, and a few territories conquored from denmark. I had 4 marchants trading with the 4 wealthiest kingdoms and 3 of them were educated.

honoustly I don't think he actually did, since you can't make that much money in the demo. Becuase you're simply to small with only 6 provinces and can't make everyone your vassal.

P.S.- 6321 per month is impossible to achieve in the demo !

around 2000 was my highest income, got it throught trading with the richest countries and having 37 Provinces and having my kingdom power at 5.

last night/this morning.
~$1,700 gold per turn. Provinces of Straclythe, Highlands, Mercia, Cambria, Munster, Lienstar. One vassal, 5 merchants, two making over 90 gold each. Kingdom Power 5, no taxes.. (yes, I repeat) NO taxes. :go:

I had all of Norway as a vassal.. all. 5 provinces. hehe. I was going after Denmark.. but the Danes were stubborn.. ultimately Norway took em over... so.. it's all good.. got them as vassals anyways. heh.

If I put taxes up to double.. which I could without fear of rebellion...it would have been $2,200

my income is approx. 3500,- 11 countries,harbors,markets an low tax, kingdompower is 5 and only one merchant.

Easy and quick ways to achieve high income :

1 - exile your marshal and replace him with a merchant
2 - "hire" (they're free) your king and prince and set them to merchants also
3 - switch to political view and look out for larger countries (most of the times they are the wealthiest in Europe) and try to make a trade agreement with them
4 - assign your 3 merchants to trade gold with the 3 most wealthy countries you've signed an agreement with
5 - switch the game speed to 2 ( I always play on 2 )
6 - try to improove your kingdom power as fast as you can to 5 - that way not only do you increase income but you also increase happiness
7 - when you've reach a revolt rating of -5% ( the fastest way is to increase kingdom power) in all your provinces - switch taxes to "high" ( that way noone gets hurt :D )
8 - assign up to 7 merchants to trade gold with other countries and leave 2 free slots for marshals
9 - ofcourse you may also construct buildings that increase income and asign merchants as governors
10 - keep your kingdom power at 5 all the time
11 - look out for merchants when assigned to trade gold - very often Europe is so dynamic that a country that brough you 100 gold per month can eventually bring you even 0 gold per month

I'm only suggesting these rules but they've always kept my vault full :D !
I'm not sure if they work in the full game - considering i've only played the demo .

You're about right there, though I would not exile my marshal... doesn't take up THAT much gold and hireing him back still costs 1000 gold... Ok, it might speed the proces up a bit ;)

I usually do 6 merchants and try to build all 'worker' buidlings, then gold income, then piety then food and go to war.
