Excommunication/Rebellions

Hi everyone. I finally got my copy of KoH (I'm in the US) and I have a couple more questions.
1) Once you are excommunicated by the Pope, is there any way to be reinstated in the church?
2) I sometimes have rebellions in counties with -20% rebellion risk. What is up with that?

1.) Don't know
2.) Try to build some entertainment bild like the inn. Also raise your knigdom power and to score really good with the people have a royal wedding(last only tempory) and have no taxes. If you just took over the prvince it'll take sometime for the people to cope with the new gov, relgion, etc.

1. Usually you can give money to the pope, and this function can be used to remove excomm(1000Piety and some 10.000Gold)
2. Use a cleric to lower nostalgy (up to 10% revoltrisk and costs 1000Books) or convert the Province to your statereligion (~5% and 1000Piety and 10.000+ Gold))

1. You can click on piet and there is big picture that say somthing like this: ask for forgiveness (30,000 and 1000 piety). However one time i did nothing, but i had a lots of churches and the pope took me in.
