dropping?

I have a problem with the english demo. When i enter a gamespot game and get in the lobby it seems fine. Then when we actually start playing, at the upper right corner a message comes up saying all the other players playing with me are droppoing in 45 seconds, 44, 43, etc. until 0 at zero, it says that i won and then it goes back to the menu. It is no fun!
"Waiting for ... (45 seconds to drop)"
"Waiting for ... (44 seconds to drop)"
etc.
etc.
This has happened 4 times now.
I have opened all the ports on my firewall, dont know about my router. Any help on this?
Is it the router? Firewall? I aslo have a cable modem running at 3.5 kbps, so i dont think it is ping. PLEASE HELP!

the ping is last thing being responsible for it!
you got a router and a personal firewall, right?

first you must configure the port forwarding on your router. also take a look, if a new firmware is present because sometimes the routers spi is buggy and gets fixed by updates. another options is, if you use a presonal firewall also to put the PC in the router's DMZ.

i got the same problem !!!!!!!!! but on the full game. i dont got a fire wall but only a anti virus program what should i do. router ???? im not a genius so whats that something with connection i guess . please if anybody knows how to fix this problem please post or pm me.

You have dissabled the XP default firewall (which turns On when installing service pack 2) right?

Maybe its not from you, but the one who play with.

don't think so caus i asked them if there games worked and they said yes and when i played them it didn't work
