View Full Version : Game flaw with avoiding spies: too easily done.
I joined at least 3 kingdoms in my games (true, mostly playing my mod) by puppet king. only once he refused...(well mostly it was very experienced spy who - vbefore this action - infiltrated about 4 other kingdoms and was at the court for some time already
and in my last games it happened also to AI 3 times (it is the only way I can explain how large Hungary joined Holy Roman Empire, how large Genoa was annexed by Venice and in my current game how 5 provinces of Poland were joined to Denmark - all 3 withouut a notification of anything being iherited)
It's too bad that there is no notice of what happened.
Hm. Never will get a straight answer on the bribing thing though I suppose.
well, but actually why should I have announced that a holy roman spy has infiltrated hungarian court and was elected as king when hungarian king died childless and then joined hungary to HRE?
there was bribing feature when game was tested, but then it was removed (only AI can bribe your knights now. IOt's the only thing where the AI has advantage against player...
True. And that's a good thing.
bump from the dead. Any answer on this YET Frujin? Is there a way to bribe as you *hinted*?
There is no action "bribe". Your princess present in foreign court increases the chances of your spies to succeed with roughly 20%. Sometimes as well, instead of waiting for a new knight to be hired, when you have princess present there, your spy will "impersonate' the knights already hired in the court, ie. effectively turning them into spies.
but this is the ONLY usage of princess
Considering that the AI rarely uses knights, not even speaking about spies, it's very bad.
Just saw the answer on this Frujin. THANK YOU for finally giving the information- so in essence you spies can take over for already hired knights IF you have a princess working for you too. Cool!
