I you have clerics you should get # of votes = to your clerics, and every kingdom votes- INCLUDING yours for some other catholic kingdom- the winner gets his most experienced cleric appointed. This way you can vote for another kingdom if you are trying to keep your cleric at home to do other things... like converting, etc...
I don't like how the voting is so behind the scenes- it is more fun to participate.
