View Full Version : KoH works with win98 FE?

Hello, I must know if KoH is playable with win98 FE (First Edition).

Generally games with win98 SE specifics works with FE, too: but recently I've got some surprises with a game that requires some specific codec for video intros, that was installable only to win98 SE :nono: (as far as I can see).

Please some advice: note that I can't upgrade to SE, for some personal reasons.

unfortunately the game was only tested under win98se because MS stopped the support for win98fe. so we cannot grant if the game works well under win98fe.

an indicator might be the demo, if it runs well then the fullversion should to the job also. BUT this is just an indicator and not a rule !!!

Uhm... ok.

I think I'll expect some economic reprint to try... also some years :sick:

The game works well under a with VMware mounted Windows98 sytem (1st Edition). But yo probably need to install Media Player codecs and the latest directx version.
