interesting quetion..
i'm from Romania too. But Dobruja (Dobrogea in romanian) is part of Romania (and never was in Bulgaria). So, by reuniting Romania: Dobruja, Dacia, Transilvania, Carpatia and Moldavia should do it.
unfortunately, i haven't been able to reunite them all.


as a side question, if my empire has other provinces also, does the reunification trigger happen?

Its no prob to have some more provs. As i reunited England i also ruled half of france.

Looks like the reuniting feature is based on historical facts. Reuniting spain is the reconquista done by Kastilia and Aragon, so i think only christian nations can do this.

Restoring glory of Burgundy looks like the old lotharingian realm.

Would be interesting whether you can restore the glory of the ancient roman empire,starting with italy an taking all provs around the "mare nostrum", western europe and south england (would be half way to total victory :) )

I just reunited Serbia in the Early Middle Ages. You start out as Zeta, and I think you have to take over Raska, Epirus, and Macedonia. Although, based on the Serbia already offered in the game's High Middle Ages, you might also be able to get away with just having Zeta and Raska.

Aside from what countries you can play as, there isn't much difference between the time periods. I like the Early period because there are fewer nations, therefore, there are fewer random war declarations and other AI annoyances.

Uhh, you reunited the Holy Roman Empire by beggining with a country that not only isn't in the game as far as I can tell (and this angers me) but wasnt' even where the Roman Empire started? If you were trying to make a joke it failed.

What's so funny? Dobrogea was part of Romania, not the whole thing mind you but you can't expect a game to be entirely accurate. I probably would have split that province in two because the border of Romania and Bulgaria goes right through the middle of it.
