View Full Version : Quick battle: how does it works?!?
I like this game, but I find it a little bit too slow, so I prefer the "quick battle mode". I've a doubt: in this mode, does it really consider the type of army or it's ever best using all eagual armies if they're the strongest type avaible? So, is it better defend a city wall using bowmen (as logical) or is it better using cavallery that has better stats?

i don't have much experience on that because i don't have the game yet... which ****s..
but. in demo in quick battle mode it's made to be that both sides can win, their troops are balanced.
i dont know about defending a city..

In my experience (I only do quickbattle because I don't like fighting but love kingdom management) I think quick battle is based on the amount of units an army has and of what it consists. (archers vs foot units etc).
Try quickbattling with 3 Heavy Archers squads and 6 Feudal Knights squads. 90% chance you will win every (quick)-battle against any number of enemy units --> for sure if you are lvl 3 in tactics. You will be almost invincible then.

Quick battles are never ballanced by definitin I noticed (as well as sieges/assults/open field).

Feudal knights are overpowered! Get them out of the early age at least...
