The Papal controller will excommunicate for the sin of being that state's enemy. My spy became pope for Bosnia and I had him excommunicate everyone just to stir the pot.

The catholic church makes claim that salvation is only through loyalty to "mother church" and its 7 sacrements. This is in direct contradiction of scriptural teachings in the New Testament. The pope is more a politcal figurehead then anything.

"there is none righteous, no not one" Romans 3:10

"For by grace are ye saved by faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" ephesians 2:8-9

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" romans 10:9
