View Full Version : Football talk!
Hello everybody! *Darius speaks with a "Doctor Nick" voice*
Now, there is perhaps some of you out there, who what (as I) to talk about football.. so here's your last chance in these forums. I know you're out there football-fans! Due to the outcome of the last tread, Nadine is giving us a last chance. If we doesn't not behave, she'll chop this tread to pieces with a mighty axe! So plz, flamer don't post....
Let the talk begin!
allright i think u should have made a poll with who will be the winner of world cup club
now about what are we talking world cup champions leageu?
perhaps I should... but seeing as I called it "football talk", I wouldn't force any topics.
Well, yeah... it is a topic, I haven't been following much of the qualifing, but I don't think that many nations from EU is capable of winning. It is more likely that South America will once again produce results.

Right now my best bet would be Arsenal, AC Milan or Barca... the others doesn't not seem to have the form just yet, but there is a long way...

Football, eh? OK, go, Cowboys, go! (oops, sorry, thought we were talking NFL football - har dee har har!)
Predicting the winner of the World Cup or the Champions League has become almost impossible. Look at the latest results:
Champions League winners: Porto.
European Championship winner: Greece.
I wonder if anyone would have predicted this at the beginning of the last season. :)

Speaking about beer (being a Canadian), have you heard why American beer and having sex in a canoe are similiar? Because they are both f*#+ing close to water!
(No offense intended to our American friends, but I just love that joke. Couldn't help myself!)

the bigger challenge it is IMO
My favourites are Arsenal, Juve or Barca.
Not sure anout ManU, when they played only 0:0 in Prague with Sparta...

Barca is clearly one, Juve also, but instead of Arsenal I would place Milan...
Arsenal isn't excatly in a row these days.
hehe...
Juve, 5 matches, 5 wins, score: 5:0 :)
and yes, Darius, you're right. Arsenal can't win this year...mot if they go on playing this..looked kinda tired to me.
