Genuinly stupid that there are no gates in the fortresses themselves,only at the city wall is! If the opponent penetrated into thefortress, it has usually already seizes won.

The gate door are easy to penetrate, therfre keep door would be nice

Yeah it will be a nice add. If the wall is breached I would like to retreat my archers to thekeep towers, as it is usually done during sieges. From there they could rain death and destruction untroubled for some time as the melee combat takes place inside the city walls.

As it stands right now there is no reason to wuthdraw into the keep with the door left wide open! Hopefully they will add this. I know I loved it in Lords2 and that was an OLD game. I noticed a modern trend of not adding castle keep doors, Stronghold did the same thing, really wierd when you think how could that be missed when it makes so much common sense!

In the current state even the gate doors does not make sense. Two regiments of feudal knights would bring it down in a few moments, alowing the infantry to quickly take over the key position over the gate. What to use siege engines for then ? You could do only with ladders which makes the engineering skill totally useless.
