helen being an artist myself i can see that, the ship from the video is able to be drawn fast. if you want just do the outlines. take the brightness up on the screen. and put the paper on the screen it should be a fairly thin or see through tracing paper.

then you can trace the shadows from the image to get the majority of the ships outline then fill in the detail later. this way is the same way you did it as a kid when you held the paper to the front door window or the house window and used the sun light to shine through the paper.

doing it with the computer might take some time to get the right amount of light to see the most outline of the ship but it should work..

For the videos, you may also use the RAD Tools (http://www.radgametools.com/default.htm) to view them. Then, you may stop the video, take a screenshot and use it for your drawing... ;)

yep i am not doing any for a job anymore as i gave up when people wanted junk art and i dont do junk art. i am an ink and lead artist and can work with any medium but am not as good in them all as i am in lead and ink.

you might get mad if you like what i consider junk art so i will just say my favorite aristst's

leonardo de vince, rembrant. and any others that get the same amount of detail in their work.,

i can do the other less detailed stuff rather fast but i just dont like it as well as the highly detailed stuff.

what about mony? yep i like money but i am always broke ;D little joke there.

but i dont like impresionisom? i cant even spell it thats how much i dislike it.

to me impres.... is the same as putting a carrort on a string and holding it over the horses head to make him move and pull the cart. not really worth trying for.

i would be the horse that sat down so the cart would tip back and the carrot would swing with in range for me to get it. then i wouldn't move :D

when i want the full thing i want the full thing not some impression of it. :D

so i have been in to photog for 20 years but i have not done much as i am broke. i been in it ever since i took the classes in college and was on the school news paper as one of its photog's. won the first award that the paper ever got for some of my photos i took for it. not bad i thought. but then the newspapers started wanting one person for both jobs of reporting and photog. since i wanted to be just a photog, i got no work. won blue ribbons in art shows from first grade on through high school. but got no work after college as they want junk art and i dont do junk art. sooooo.

all the talent and cant get work. just like rembrant i heard he was toss'd out of several apartments for lack of rent payment. so i am in good company to be out of work for people having a lack of wanting his type of detail.

and when that lousey guy in florida layed out a canvas and put different color of paint in puddles around it and let his cat chase a chicken through the paint and run all over the canvas and then let his dog chase his cat the same way.

and got 20 million dollars for the smeard up canvas and i cant get 50 dollars for a peice of high detailed work, well i just quite.

most art i do any more is what i put to use on my wet site weather some one else made it or i made it dont matter any more i just use what ever i find.
