Sound crashes - game freezes.

I can play for hours in the WV without any problems. But everytime I try to fight a battle myself my sound turns into a harsh buzzing.

The same thing happens in multiplayer except that the game freezes as well.

I have yet to fight one battle and retain sound. I have yet to play a single multiplayer game. This is getting incredibly frustrating.

do u have a savegame which crashes right after loading?

No, but as the crash is pretty consistant (every time I lead battle) I'm fairly certain I could create one. Shall I try?
