ok, before starting to put bounties on my head read this text carefully. Definitively, althoug i am portuguese, i always had a passion for the Teutonic Order story wich i read when i was a young boy. So, has a lot of people here surely know, the Teutonic Order was administrated by clerics WHO CANT MARRY!! so i think the Teutonic Order dynasty should be made a different way. the grand masters were normally experienced middle-aged man who have lived the great part of their lives in the order. so perhaps the teutonic order dynasty should be organized in a different but simpler way, when a grand master dies a new master or a marshall succeds him.

also, when u start a game with the Teutonic Order, your grand master is someguy named Albin. wtf is that Albin? in 1210, the Teutonic Hochmeister was Hermman Von Salza (previously it was Herman Bart, but this one died before the teutons had established their kingdom in the baltic) so can u guys correct this little name bug at least pretty pretty pretty pretty please?

And what the hell do you expect. The game is not made by historians, but by programmers. You can't expect them to study the history, culture, the traditional names and etc. things.

So, has a lot of people here surely know, the Teutonic Order was administrated by clerics WHO CANT MARRY!! so i think the Teutonic Order dynasty should be made a different way.

The same can be applied for half of the coutries, provices or people at all involved in the game.
I wish you could do a game to see if it will be accurate with the history and the traditions of all the people.

I was angry when Bulgaria was put as a Byzantium province in Medieval Total War, despite the fact that it was ruled by Byzantya for 200 years only in all its 1300 years of hystory, and that most of the time Byzantia was paying a tribute to bulgaria. Well there are no perfect things, so please shut up.

criticism is always constructive in the way to perfection no matter how acid it is. definitively, i think the Teutonic Order kingdom and the Papacy territories should be corrected different in the royal dynasty system. think a little, a pope who marries? thats simply absurd! and i dont think you need to be an historian to search for a correct historical name instead of inventing weird names :p

there once was a thread No famous persons in KoH? (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?t=697) Where this was discussed. Frujin asked community for names (see post n.10 in that thread) and we found out as many names as possible.
You can see that not all of them were included, but it's not that wrong IMO

Question of Grandmasters/popes is little different. Papacy and TO would have disadvantage compared to other nations. If you want to be perfectly correct, emperors of HRE(Germany), doges of Venice, doges of Genoa should be all elected. Yes, I asked for this feature, but practically, it would be too complicated for such game.

Not everybody can be satisfied in game like KoH, especially history nerds.

I would like to change many things from names of knights, kingdoms and provinces, their number, size and shapes of provinces, system of many features(vassalage, succession, which for example was in almost every kingdom slightly different), to number of units and how they lok like(Teutonic knights and Templars mounted). But I must say this game is the best I've ever played, it is closer to reality of medieval Europe than any other game I know. So I am happy :)

Well this happens to all games 'me Lords', so do not get your shirt up just yet, the Bulgarian issue will be resolved, I am sure.

Patches seem to fix most things Me-Lords, so time will make this the best game ever.

Have pain, and it will make you better.

So they tell me.
