Ok does anyone know how to get the word "edit" to appear under your money during game play? I have discovered that the cheat will only work when the word edit is under the money total, then it works fine. This is the american version I guess...I bought it at walmart anyway.

I can get it to come up sometimes by typing in "fast game" and the alt control shift +W and 2061 many times in different orders.....sometimes it works in a few attempts sometimes I can't get it to work for an hour of trying it over and over, sometimes not at all.

Please could one of you much smarter people figure out what is going on, and how to do it first time everytime! Thanks for trying!

I don't think you're going to find much help here, not too many of us are into cheating! It's actually much "faster" just to learn the right way to play the game, and a lot more enjoyable. If you want help with that you'll find alot of help!

Hey Chris, 1602 is one of those games that can be played easily without using cheats. Tell us about your gameplay problems and you will get advice.

the word edit is "beta" in a way. it was probly used in makind the scenaros. it may be linked to "fastgame" in a way. it realy doesn't help. i made it come up a few times. i think if you cheat for a while, get a statuche then it will happen. the inely way to chear is goods and money.

Yes. Thanks .
Though i've never heard of t´him so I thought he owns another nick which would be more familiar to me.

However ... it's the best Encyclopedia about this game I've ever seen.

I only know that he has that nickname... You may have a look, for instance, here (http://www.sunflowers.de/discussion/Forum14/HTML/004446.html) - there he spoke about his strategy guide. :)

Well, what's this whole section of the board about? 1602 A.D. aka Anno 1602, isn't it?

Thanks to those who offered help with my game play. I really don't need help with that. I have completed the game the normal way with out cheating. I like to replay this game because for some reason it seems to calm my nerves...I guess it is the sounds and the music that releves my stress. I just wanted to speed things up so I can complete a section in a single evening. It really is faster, a lot faster to cheat, but different strokes as they say. Not to mention I hate not being able to figure out how the cheat works properly.

If you can get the edit to come up and wish to try the cheat its alt, ctrl, shift W then 2061 then return then shift A and return. Place the pointer over the city then Shift = M for money T for tools H for Wood K for cannon and Z for brick.

Well... it's much easier to load the scenario into the editor and amend everything as you like... Press shift+L to browse your folders for the relevant scenario. ;)

what game is that site about

As already mentioned Anno 1602, if you were thinking timski's guide was about Anno 1503, you are also right. Timski wrote a guide for each game.

and both are great. i'd like it even better if it wasn't a "click the link to go to that part" guide. if it was lond, and the link would jump there, thewn it'd be good
