I have gone to Anno-Pool and re-downloaded all the scenarios that I had before, including Anno Installer,Anno set up Anno builder. When I try to open them I can't! They will unzip but then I can't get them to play in the game or even show up there! What am I doing wrong or what don't I have that I need? ;(

MamaWB,

I have only used anno installer for installing a campaign.

The others I haven't used but did you move the unzipped scenarios to the own scenarios folder in C:\Program Files\1602 ad\own scenarios

The programs you mention are tools, not scenarios - you cannot play them...;)

The Anno setup is unknown to me - do you mean the Annobuildersetup? That file is the setup file for AnnoBuilder and AnnoInstaller; they are for creating and installing campaigns in Anno. So, you pobably need the AnnoInstaller for installing campaignes which were created with the AnnoBuilder, but not for single scenarios. ;)

As for the downloaded scenarios, just put them (unzipped) into the "own scenarios" folder of your 1602 directory. Then they will show up in the "own scenarios" section of the game.

Tried that and they still wouldn't show up in the game list on 1602. They opened in the own scenario folder like I said but they still won't play. I even tried using the Anno Installer with them and that didn't work either. I never had this problem when I downloaded them before on the old Windows 98.Loaded them straight from the site, opened them and played them! I'll try downloading them again and see what happens. Thanks :)

Just to let you guys know that I finally got the scenes downloaded and WORKING. Mein Gott, what a hassle with XP !!. I had to open the 1602 folder each timego to own scenarios, open the file then MOVE the file. Oh well, at least I have the scenarios again. :hello:
