And everything goes to the birds
Hey just kidding, I will miss the old forum. Has any one heard from Manny
I have been looking for the editor that will let you create your own islands other than the "standard" group of islands that come in the game
 I am glad they are still giving us a forum to go to

I don't recognisize your name Fears2036, what was your name of the old discussion board? Sorry, no one that I know of has heard from Manny for months, shortly after he wrote his 5,000th. post on the other board!
Maybe you're Manny!

Welcome aboard, Fears2036!:)
It is Sir Henry's Island Editor (http://www.zur-borg.de/Anno1602/english/index.htm) that you are looking for. Click on the link.
When you have some good islands you want to share with the 1602 community, go to
The Anno-Pool (http://www.annozone.de/annopool/) and upload them. Check out the player made islands there.
Have fun!:)

:rofl:Prince Eric is not Manny! I think Manny just went on to bigger things. Likewise with Sir Henry.
Are you sure you can't search the old board; it should be read only even though it is closed to new posts.
You can still search the old board, I did a search on it just a couple of days ago. You just cannot post.
It is here (http://www.sunflowers.de/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro&BypassCookie=true)

Did you search all forums. If so it takes a few min to search through all the really old closed forums. Did you try to narrow your search by selecting one specific forum like "single player" or "multi..." or "tech. help".
I just did a search using the keyword "fears" and I got 61 results. BTW, your last post over there seems to be Feb 18, 2003. That is a few months!;)

@Dobber - No he is not the same. Manny spells it Manfred and I think? that Manfried is from France? Manny was last known to be living in the Tampa Bay area of Florida but he is German. We last heard from him just before the hurricane hit that area.
oh no! you don't think, he's de@d?!?!?!?!?!?!!? that's ao bad! unless i heazr from him, i'm burning paper and sending the ashes to sea. :(
NO, let's hope that his silence doesn't mean anything serious like that!
But it really seems that he doesn't live anymore in Florida: knowing his complete name, I just searched for him with
Switchboard (http://www.switchboard.com/) in the whole state of Florida but without success. One of the last things I can still remember from his site was his antipathy against 1503 A.D. so I guess he's still not playing it. :=(
And I can also confirm that he's not identical with Manfried, the owner of the French Anno site AnnoFrance (http://www.annofrance.com) with whom I'm still having a vivid personal contact. "Manfried" is only his nickname and he's living in France. He never played 1602 A.D. very much and had one of his first multiplayer games with me some months ago.
anyone checked his homepage? :) Don't know who it is on the pic, but it seems like a lifesign to me ;)
http://1602.us/
Hey, you're sure that it's Manny's site? I knew only http://1602.2y.net as his latest address and that one's not working anymore since a while now. Anyways, at http://1602.us/ there's only that picture of a boy which is titled "eric", could be his son but I don't remember his name anymore....
ok.. don't scare me like that! I thought I had completely wrong adress.. luckily I found his post where had both links on old board :)
