I've installed the patch and now it doesn't want to run the game at all.
Every time I try to rung I get the message:

Conflict: a hook process was found. Please deactivate all Antivirus and Anti-Trojan programs and debugers.

I've tried deactivting my Norton but it still doesn't want to run it? Do I need to deinstall it to rung the game? I mean really what the hell!?!?!

I use Norton anti-virus. I disabled it, but it still gives me the message. The things is that I can't turn off Norton completly because it's way how the program works. I can however disable it, but it doesn't help.

I really don't know what to do...

You could go into your startup configuration and disable it from running at startup. You can always go back in and enable it later.

it wasn't meant as permanent solution just for confirming norton to be responsible!

restall the game and this time dont use the patch. Your not only one getting problums with patch like I do. Webmaster might tell me off for this I dont care but I think the patch is a bit buggy and better to wait to they bring a new patch out and try to see if that sorts it.
It`s the only way to play KOH with out the game having too many probs.

If you receive an error message "Conflict: a hook process was found." then your system is most probably indeed infected with something malicious like a Trojan, keylogger, AdWare, Spyware etc. although some tools like Spy Sweeper, Dialer Control, A2 Guard, old versions of Tiny Personal FW might also cause it.

You should try running a Spyware-killer like AdAware or Spybot Search & Destroy first.

The patched copyprotection seems to have a problem with certain AntiVirus-Programms. Though the copyprotection is not a Sunflowers-product and Sunflowers is not responsible for the error, the problem is being examinated in Sunflowers Quality-Assurance-department and the bugreport was fowarded accordingly.
You will be informed about any changes. :go:

HCode I already did that. I also deinstalled all my spyware and adaware programs including my antivirus and my firewall....with no help.

Hopefully there will be another patch which will fix the patch bug :rolleye:
