Before I had the Patch the game was fine no problems now I had the patch the game close down now and again and a lot of the time just after a battle. I got the game set to save every 30 mins but what happen in between game being saved and game closeing I have lost and got to start from save game.
I read the readme file on patch and thought ya some things been add to imporve game.

Also read this part:-
------------------------------------------------
5. Fixed Several Bugs Which Were Causing Crashes
------------------------------------------------

- General: crashes from saved games sent by end users.
- General: Fixed saved game crashes caused by the spy system.
- General: Fixed random crashes during quick battles.
- General: Fixed crash caused by system console.
Ummm so you add somethink in to the patch to make the game crashes. Not happy with some having crashe problems you wont more of us to have it. :bash:
Also in the game which I did not have a lot off before the patch where my population are happy and rebellion risk is low yet I got a lot more Rebels.
Not sure if this is to do with patch but One of my Rabel armies that swpan in my provinces took to fighting Sweden provincse which I had a Pact of non-aggression and bang sweden went to war with me and I also lost Kingdom power.

On the funny side or nice part was when I lost a town one of the loyalists of that provinces took up arms and attack the town saying somethink like "he was loyal to me and must take the town back" One of my Marshal arrived just after and help take the town.
Also sen where I was fighting a town and lossing bad and could not get another marshal ther in time but a Loyalists pop up and join in the fight which help my Marshal a lot and saved the day. The Loyalists went on to attack a enemy provinces.

In between me installing the game and installing the patch I did not add any think to my harddrive or play any other game but KOH. So its not down to my computer but the patch.
I understand that after a patch as been brought out there can be bugs in it and in time a new patch will come out to sort out bugs from last patch, so need to give it time which for the makers to sort ok but theres some points for you the makers to look at.

So how do I now uninstall the patch apart from uninstall the game and reinstall the game.

Comments on the game:-
Damm good. The best game I have played in long time and as now stop me playing EVE on-line game. :D

1) OK who the hell is frujuin

2) I read the reamme file on the patch and it dont say any think about not useing old savegames.
Ohh it dont say you have to look in forum before you use the patch "Thats if it say`s you shouldn`t use old savegame in forum".
So if I did use a old savegame and shouldn`t then that`s down to the game makers for not doing there job right and letting us know in readme file for patch that`s with the patch.

Damm do we now have to go to fourm before we play a game after we buy it, to read any new info if so then that should be on readme file.

And as for useing a old savegame before I start new game after I install the patch then NO I did not I started the game from start. I did that just incase I might have miss out on another new add-ons that wont work with old savegames.

frujin is the headdeveloper of KoH !

some users reported starting an old savegame, saving right after loading, qutting KoH, restarting KoH and loading the new savegame worked.

i ask frujin for the reasons, why the savegames aren't compatible. the savegames are complex and contain scripts which aren't exchangeable between standard and patched version.
