Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum. Got the game recently and was very impressed. Very nice indeed.
I haven't played a strategy game this good for years (honestly), although a little easy on the A.I. Anyway, I spotted a couple of missups and bugs and thought I could point them out.
1) When you capture an unknown spy and tourture him, even if he doesn't reveal his identity, you can get a message from some other ruler saying that he is "pleased you have tortured that spy from Genoa" (or some other country). Even other nations know about my kingdome what I don't. :bash:
2) Also, when you repair units in cities, their repair cost is the cost of a new unit! This is a little unrealistic, since you only need to replace some (not all) of the men in the units. Since they already have unit counts (in %, I suspect) wouldn't it be better if cost were a % of unit's full cost? :beek:
Aside from that, I have a question.
The tactical battle reminded me very heavily of Warhammer: Dark Omen. To make matters clear, the "All is Lost" sound effect sounds totally like "All is Lost" from Dark Omen. The intro animation credits credits Electronic Arts. Does this means that the game uses EA's Dark Omen engine, or did they make a new one for the battle? :bconfused
Thanks!
