There are two chances to get other units:
1) conquer half a Europe :-),
2) find a mercenary camp with that kind of units.

England ****s?
With Longbowmen, Hobilars, just go up to scotch hills and you hae Highlander, down to Normandy and have Normans.
In comparison to other kingdoms it's not bad.

My Advice: look at political map, click at helmet, where you'll see which units you can pbuy where and capture those provinces with Longbowmen supported by men-at-arms and hobilars. I guess this is very STRONG army, much stronger than Polish Slavonic axemen and Slavonic bowmen, or Bbohemian men-at arms, light cav and slavonic bowmen :)

PS what do you want? Teutonic knights originated in London? Swiss halberdiers? Spanish Jinettes? Memeluks? in England?

Feudal knights are kingdom special unit only in the heart of feudal Europe, what is France and Germany and Burgundy and fially I find it fair. They are not Kingdom Special unit for Italian states, Spanish nor Scandinavian states, nor England nor central European states like Austria, Bohemia Poland and Hungary where they also were cores of armies. But you are able to buy them there still, they only cost you twice more than french :)

I was greatly dissapointed that longbowmen were not one of England's kingdom unit.

Longbowmen were Welsh unitand since Wales isn't part of England in neither of periods, it's logical they're not english unit (kingdom special)
But they are still there possible to be hired for how much? When Logbowmen get to Bohemia as mercs, they cost 1600, I guess in England it shold be lesser... 1200?

You will find that all the nations have differant men at arms.

England did not have Teutonic Knights as Germany did not have Hoblers.

It was only when Wales became a province of England that the Long bowmen appeared in the English army of that time.

The history of units in Koh Is very good  , so learn the history of arms in that period, and you will see that this game has It near right for countries armies. :D

And on another note: England doe's not SUX, It has Its faults like all countries do,(just jokeing)
