21 000? :beek: Are you sure? I've heard something around 14 000 dead. Anyway, it's still a lot! An earthquake on 9th Richter, following tzunamis... All we need is an asteroid for a real Armageddon! I'm sorry for all those people*. But unfortunately such a disaster is only statistics (The death of one is tragedy, the dead of a thousand is statistics).

*Afaih the dead are ~14 000:
4 500 - Indonesia (near Sumatra isl.)
4 900 - Sri Lanka (1 500 missing)
4 300 - South India
400 - Tailand
and ~70 foreigners from Sweden, France, Belgium, the UK, Japan, the US... And the numbers will probably rise. :nono:

It is shocking! To see people pain when they find their relatives dead!! I saw on news how mothers kneel near dead children, cry and shout... :frown:
I often see black tsunamies in my dreams (sea is not so far!) and I scare big waves...

This morning I heard in the radio that officials expect about 40 000 casualties. Horrible.

I've heard about 50 000, only Sri Lanka has 1.5 millions people with destroyed homes.

I saw floods in here 2 years ago when about 200 000 people have damaged or flooded houses, it was terrible... for this I have no words it's uncomparably worse

I wish moral strength to people there...

I read that another 60,000 + would die of diesaese. The UN is lauching it's biggest relief effort ever. I know a guy who was in Indonesia. He was staying at a place where it wasn't hit bad so I think he's ok. My condolances to all the friends and families of the victums.

-Before the tsunami hit the beach, the water receded 600 feet from the beach
-More like 45,000 people were killed
-The UN was very kind to launch it's biggest support operation ever; I wonder when Saddam will be tried (I know, RANDOM)

So, over 120 000 already! This is truly a disaster!

Atleast I'm glad that my countrymen had great luck! There was an airplane with around 150 Bulgarian tourists that landed in Thailand just a few minutes after the tzunami hit the coast, which saved their lives. If they were 5 minutes earlier, they would be dead right now. Atleast we had some luck! But so many others hadn't...
