1. yes you can play as Scotland....
2. I play it on a laptop....so if your comp is not soooo old it should work
3. Haven't played so much yet.
4. It is complex and offers fun aspects (diplomacy, managing vassals...)

hi
1. you can play for almost all important kingdoms of medieval Europe and the mediterranean, so of course for Scotland too
2. my comp has almost none of "needed" system requirements and the game still runs well :)
3. sometimes I regret how long tha game lasts... and yes, each time you play it's different game so you can play it again and again
4. it's worth buying it. It's really good!

I am also thinking of buying the game and was wondering if those of you who already have the game, could comment a bit more on the graphics and combat - are the graphics for tactical combat fairly good? Medieval Total War, for example, was a great game, but the unit animations in tactical combat were only so-so and the units often became a "jumble" in large battles. Just curious what your impressions are. Thanks for any input or comments!
