Well I had a very funny situation at the university: Different groups had to present literature and made powerpoint presentations..and all used my laptop to present them..and I kept an eye that they did not close ppt...but the last did and my "nemesis"-background appeared and all had a lot of fun.....very embarrasing for me :)

I banned the background from my desktop..at least for a while...but a few weeks ago it returned....it is a beautiful background :)

And now Enterprise has been cancelled :ysad: the 4th season will be its last, when it really turned good. :sad:

I really don't thik a petition will work this time.. it worked getting the 4th season, but if they've decided to end this, then they will.

the classics were cancelled two times by cbs (i think it was). but the poeple said NO ... maybe it will be a NO this time, but its worth trying

if they'll be picked up by another network, then perhaps. But they also said no more trek for 3-4 years so.

the old days are different then these days.. before the only sci-fi on tv was TOS (that I know of) now it's wrestling along with good sci-fi shows like stargate, battlestar galactica, andromeda and sci-fi/fantasy shows like Smallville.

hmm..Galactica is the wors I have ever seen...not even worth to compare it with the original series/films!!
Andromeda has a nice idea "What, if the federation is destroyed) but it is not really good....

stargate I like very much..espeacilly Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks.....

Smallville I haven´t senn much of..and I didn´t like what I have seen....

Enterprise and Star Trek in general are very good and willa lways be a benchmark for other series......

Only reason I mentioned these "active" sci-fi shows was just to say star trek has competition, not to say which is good and bad. ;)
