View Full Version : Is there a way to change the Units...
That the AI kingdoms focus on? I have never seen a specialty unit atack me. The toughest unit I see the AI use is a Man at Arms. Can this be altered?
Also, can we change the AI production of buildings to include advanced town defences?
If we could change these two things, I would be satisfied with the game.
Thanks.
It's up to you to create a strong army and give it to your ai-oppenent by using enter and typing "bsswitch" .
Save this savegame and you can play it again (if you fail at 1st time  )
^^I am actually talking about changing a script so the AI will producemore advanced units and structures.
On a side note, the "bsswitch", do you just press <Enter> and type "bsswitch" and choose your new country?
This game is soooo close to being great, but also soo close to sitting on my shelf to never play again.
many times I'm attacked by AI using strong units so I don't have this problem-they only use bad battle tactic.
I didn't try what you asked for, so I can't give you any satisfactory answer

So Frieden, you are saying you can change the AI behave'er by typeing in this "BSSWHITCH", thanks very much.
Sir Elvain, I find It very strange, that you answer a question, that you cannot answer. :bland:
I do not think Its possible to edit this game Irish, as there's no Editor function.
Unless Its hidden :bash: .

Lord-Piecemeal:
The units stats, names and GFX are stored in the various *.pak-files. You can edit these. But that's pretty much hex-dump reading and just for die-hard-modders or assembly-programmers. :go:

Quick question for die-hard-modders :)
I love the game but for the personal peace of mind I would like to fix some inconsistances with names. I'm playing for novgord and computer generated Mongolian names for my knights and hiers plus my marshals title is Tarkan!!.... lame!!!
Anyone has any suggestions? The help will be apreciated;)
