Hi, if anybody tried yet adding a kingdom, please, help me..

do you know a logic of "kingdomnamepos.in2" files?

or this is maybe only for Frujin and developers:
I would like to add a kingdom to be playable, add it to the high period to the end of the list of kingdoms, but I can't see any logic there...

when 3 last kingdoms are Tunis (258,459), Venice(272,289) and Wales (88,194), I don't know which position data I should give to the last one :(

can anybody help me?
coz I think it's the last step. I already "made" their emblem, color, kingdom specific units, kings, I added it to kingdom files etc, and this is IMO the last step and I really don't know how to do it.
And I really don't want to have my game crushed because this is gona be big change (including testing of Angryminers mod + moving some realms from one "nationality" region to another)

Find the biggest possible coordinates in the file and then estimate the desired coordinates of your name by looking at the worldmap and using linear maths.
And then try out a lot. :go:
Just save a backup of the edited file and try and try.

You were right, Angryminer :go:
thanks!

now I only have to do some testings to find some bugs in those changes (f.i. I wanted Flandre-new kingdom to have same kingdom specific units like France and they had horse archers, arcers, spearmen, swordsmen, axemen and one more I already forgot :beek:)

How can I add kingdoms royal family names to the game. It requires creating completely new file which has ot be added somehow to the game, so editing in PakMan doesn't work..

You can add new Kingdom.

Yes, I already did

but I don't know where to put new file with their own royal dynasty, which isn't in original game (flandre;1000.txt), if directly to paks directory or to paks\europe\kings

the same question goes for quests:
unite_HRE.ini
unite_rome.ini

I'll test it few times more...

So, for those who want to "create" their own kingsom, it's not hard...
1) create key and base in texts.pak (eu_realms;2.tsv)
2) open kingdoms.ini(in europe.pak) and add it there (key name) to the end of list
3) define kingdom specific units in TrainUnits.xls and then in TrainUnits.txt (europe.pak)
4) define kingdom provinces, ornament and colours, relations with neighbours and borders in kingdoms_XXX*.ini (europe.pak) - probably the hardest work
5) if necessary, define vassalage in vassals.ini
6) in kingdomnameposX**.in2 define coordinates of kingdom name in world map
7) don't know yet how to make it work:
create names for kings (copy some file, f.i. france;1000.txt in europe.pak and rename it then to YOURKINGDOM;XXX*.txt)
But yet I don't know where to put this file to make it work...

Thank you Elvain for your effort. Maybe someone will create Europe in different times than 1000, 1200 and 1350. I see that you have problem with creating names for kings. I have just put file "YOURKINGDOM;XXX*.txt" in 'maps\europe\kings\' in game's directory.

cool. Nice to see somebody else trying too

I though about 800 AD, but just as a dream.
Maybe I used bad directory for kings, so I'll try yours. Thanks
