Only a german demo yet? This is gonna be fun. :D
Looked nice played ok didnt know what i was doing, the only problem was it seemed abit laggy when scrolling
My german was even worse than I remembered. Hmm, I experienced no lag, however, the game wasn't very revolutionary. I'm starting to get tired of the ordinary stupid RTS characters that you have to order around one by one and that will just attack until they die.
Once I scaled the enemy castle walls the pathfinding got really weird. It seemed the didn't want to move much at all, just jittering back and forth and moving slowly towards the target while the enemy rained arrows at them. Dumb sods.
Thats a cool game...I didnt know half the stuff they said or mssged. but I knew some..I like the detail though, good game =D
Is there an english version out - I didn't know what I was doing with that :(
Just build everything and buy all upgrades :D
I don't like the 3D view.....
Use the right mouse button and mouse wheel to adjust the view. I find that the use of 3D adds to the game. Positioning the view behind a wall archers upon it and firing, bombards spitting their shot beneath the wall is all very atmospheric. Given the Germanic architecture that the game was in German almost added rather than detracted - myself being an English speaker. 3d is problematic when it does not add to a game. Here it does. A game that has soldiers on the walls is certainly worthwhile. Despite being in German, which I unfortunately do not understand, I found the gameplay very fluid. The ability to allocate labour with the slider helps greatly in that regard. Once a player accepts that this is a game strictly within the rts genre - albeit with innovation the small details - they should find this enjoyable.
It is released in Germany. Has the reaction from gamers and reviewers there been positive? The dim ai - it appeared almost to be like that of the original Warrior Kings which was scripted and reactive - and other problems should be the sort of things that do not last beyond the demo and pre-release versions of a game.
