Game language

Hi,

my name's Laurent, i'm french, and i've just bought the game today. On the cover of the game i can see that it is fully located.
But when i play the game, it is not. The game runs in english language. I know i can play it in this language, but i would like to play it in my own language.
I phone the french hotline of EA and they told me that it was because my OS(WinXP) was in English.
I want to know if it is true, and how i can install it in french on a english OS.

The Setup of KoH should have asked you which language you wanted and as it seems you chose english because english was preselected.

Excuse me ? where is the choice language...i have a french setup menu....i click on "Installer le jeu" and except the directory destination...i don't see any choice for the language....
maybe my eyes ???

Hi, well i made the setup on my home PC...undex XP pro...in English language and SP2, and without anymore language choice,...the game is in French....!!!! so am i weird !!!
The other PC where the game is in english is my laptop PC with XP in english and SP1 only....
Can somebody help me ????

Maybe you need SP2 on your laptop.

I have W98 & KoH in french works well..... No idea about XP.

Hi, back again

Here is the truth....on a XP system using english language, the game is installed in english(by the way it's true with SP1).
In order to get the texts (sounds are still in english), i've updated to patch 1.03 in french.
So now i have a VO with "subtitle" like a very good movie.

One more note :
Maybe it is not SP1 or SP2, but the way XP is installed, if i success in turning it fully french i'll tell you there ;-)

Which language was the game originally written in? If it's English, I'd rather play the untranslated version (German is too hard for me). Of course, I'm not sure how to do that, but...
