i want to ask sth- if i've been playing the game for several weeks and now i install the new patch will the saved game continue with the new changes of the gameplay?

it is not recommended to continue a pre patch savegame, but people from the board loaded old savegames, saved them again, closed KoH and loaded the "new" savegame.

I didn't see anything in the patch notes about not loading a pre-patch game post-patch, so I did, and now I'm confused - right from the reload, my gold income went down the drain (from several hundred positive to several hundred negative).

I looked at expenses, and the biggest expense was from imported exotic goods - it could be the difference. Do you get charged multiple times if you import the same goods to several ports? (like, in conquered provinces...)

Another thing could be, I was playing on Easy (this is my first game); could it be that the patch changed the difficulty level?
