Welcome to the forums, Mircoslavux!
There is a patch for AD 1602 available that makes it run in Windows XP, so there is no risk. :go:

Welcome to the board, Mircoslavux. :halloha:
Anno1602 should run under WinXP. Should you face any technical or ingame problems, you are welcome to ask here. So - buy the game and have fun!

Thanks, I will try, and let you know.
and why am I asking ?
Because: I have bought a AD1503, installed it, but it was not running at all. Then I have poited, that the cd has some scarts and I changed it for new one in the shop. But the other ones did not work at all.
I installed it according the instructions and if I tried to play, but nothing happens, it seems, that neither the cd room was not reading the cd??? I like such games, that I have though, that my pc is not sufficient for AD 1503. Maybe I have to buy a new pc. (my PC - AMD 1800, 256 MB DDR RAM, 64 MB grafic card, 40 x CD room).
nice weekend.

Why should your PC not be sufficient for Anno 1503? As far as I can see it would comply with the minimum requirements (http://www.anno1503.com/english/support/list_answers.php4?cat=2&sub=0#01) !

I spend some minutes searching...
"1602 A.D." is Windows Xp compatible, only the german version "Anno 1602" needs a patched installer. But your version should run fine. :go:

Ever asked the Technical Help of the 1503 AD board (http://www.anno1503.com/forum/index.php?s=) ?
Just to clarify: I believe none of the original versions of the game ("Anno 1602") install correctly with W2K/XP. However, non-German versions of the original are quite rare. Most non-German versions are those that include both the original and the expansion ("1602 AD" or "Anno 1602 Gold"). There is a manual work-around for the original non-German Anno 1602 (here (http://www.capsu.org/1602/7.html)).

There is even an installer written by Ghostwalker; you can download it by following this link (http://www.newscenterx.de/downloadassistent/dlass.php?action=dload&id=28). ;)
So, the answer is: b u y

I will try to play it more, and will see, If it will happen more frequently.

You are right, the German Gold Edition ("Königsedition") does not require a patch.
As you have WinXP, try to lower the hardware acceleration for your sound and graphic cards to zero. That should help...

I played it last year. It is quiet funny old business strategy. I bought it in the multipacket of games.

Hi :hello:
Has somebody played the game : Guilde?
I wanna some positive or negative experiences.
thanks
:go:
I've never heard of 1193 AD before too. So I googled a little bit and found this (http://www.gamecaptain.de/page.php?flap=2&file=tests/1193ad.htm)
Result: A game which is in no way approximately up-to-date to the games of today. Not recommandable.
edit:
There is a valuation for this play.
100 points were possible. 1193 AD only got 19 :nono:

Hoi :hello:
I bought 1193 AD last year, in a multiple packet of games (because is an old game), and I found in google some more information about this game. I think it will be more similar to Guilde (not sure abut the correct name) then to AD 1503 or 1602.
1193 AD is something like historical business strategy...
Have you ever play Guilde.
