 Hi,
I have some smart tips , and i want to shear them with you guys here on the Anno forum. And im sure that u guys have some good tips on the way  .

TIP 1
Have you ever tried to build a wall? As most of uss discover that its very expensive. So why dont use trees , fisher huts or satues they are very cheap too , fisher huts are truly the best one , tha AI's wont destroy it. (Tip by RoadRunner) I have never seen the AI destroyed a tree before , but RoadRunner has. I have never tested the statues AcK truly have and will recomend that as an good wall.

TIP 2
Are you sick of that the computer always build so much wall around their island? Try to take out all their ships before u take the island , in that way they stop upp for recourses and their monay will drop fast beacouse of the people will sink in lvl's. :go:

More tips and cheats: here (http://f4.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/IEUrQv-FCX4pFzlQ_WcyXZEDYAg2Pnw_aL6Df7WKKtO50k0bk8oSUimZw q1BFRAtIYMKS0BPbAokeiUMITGAtGM3pGHH2g/Usa%20Cheats) (not written by me)

EDIT: Hope its a bit better now

Your spelling hasn't improved much Easter Bunny but I think I get the idea. Regarding Tip #1, aren't you aware that soldiers and ships can shoot down trees as well as walls?
Trees are cheaper than walls though and they do slow down the enemy somewhat.
Tip #2, It is in fact a good idea to take out the enemy ships first before attacking his island, however the AIs aren't very good at setting up auto routes between their islands so while it will hurt his economy he can survive well by using free traders. Your best bet after invading his island is to take out his brick, tool & cannon facilities as soon as possible. :go:

P.S. Attack trees the same way as soldiers & ships but hold down the ctrl key.
Tip #3, Stay away from cheat codes, they are an abomination of the game :yuck:

Omg , i dint know that trees could be shot down  But the AI isnt that smart that he will do it , but on a multiplayer game u shouldnt use that way. By the way about my spelling , i dont live in the UK or US. Im only 13 year old!! So i think my spelling is pretty good to be 13 year old and dont live in the US or UK.

And about cheats and codes , i hate them so much (the cheats), waths the point with strategi games if u cheat? It just some ppl like it.

Good point Bunny! Your English is much better than my, my, well I don't have any other languages, so good for you.
BTW, AIs know how to chop trees too!
 since you are only 13, your glass is lemonaide!

Yeah they know how to cut trees , but u cant place an forest hut on an enemy island  Any more tip?

Of course you can! Build a warehouse and plant trees or woodcutters or any other thing you have room for. If you don't have room on his island, make room!

Easter Bunny

if u can make the room , then its ok . But u dont kill someone just to put an forest hut on their island

No you don't, but after your warehouse is built a few watchtowers at a path made through the trees will take out his entire army.

-ah , sure nice tip , ill try to use that one at my next game. But on the game i play now i got an problem , hope u (someone) can give me some advise.

-Ok, in 1-2 minutes an voulcano will errupt in the middle of my island! I have seen whats gonna happens , and its alot of fire and houses beeing "crunshed"(smashed).
Is it possible to stop it ore is it any good way to build upp your city , need some advise plz.

You can't stop a volcano from errupting, they will set fire to or destroy anything the lava falls on, except for stone square roads. That's the road 1 step up from cobblestone. A firebrigade with a stone square road leading to the burning houses, mines, and such will usually save the buildings. Be sure that the firebrigade is out of range of the volcano but within range of the fire. In my experience, usually I don't build near volcanoes, churches, taverns & schools are destroyed as soon as the lava hits them, firebrigades won't help there.

Build statues instead of trees. They cost nothing, and they are harder to destroy.

yes AcK they maby are , in a multiplayer games yout advis surly is good :go: But the point whit the trees are : the AI's (computers) wont destroy them , their are to stupid. As i have said before , the only way the AI will destroy the trees on is with forest hut, and iven they arent so stupid  Anyway good advise for the multiplayer

EDIT: Can some moderators plz change the topic name to "Anno Tips".

Done.

I don't know your Anno version, but in my version, the AI players know very well how to destroy trees. :bash:

BTW if you have enough ressources you may use fishing huts instead of walls: the AI players will not destroy them with their ships.

But to be honest: I never care about walls or towers. I just try to keep enough building material and cannons in my warehouses - and if (IF!) an AI player invades me, I quickly build a tower surrounded by trees or a wall and shoot them. If there are no cannons in the warehouse, I could also unload some from a battleship. ;)

AI's may shot down trees after all , i got anno 1602 golde editons, and i have never seen they shoot down my trees  . You guys have most truly more experience than me , so i think ill change my start post on this topic a little bit

Thanks for your advice, Easter Bunny. There may still be some newbies around who don't know about that yet.

Perhaps you have not discovered Timski's Strategy Guide (http://www.capsu.org/1602/) yet. There you can find a lot of useful tips and hints.

It might also be useful to concentrate on one aspect of Anno only (e.g., war, trade / economy, settlement, pirates, editor) - otherwise, you will soon get puzzled by the deepness of the game. ;)

I mean if we post here tips for trading, building up your city, handling the pirates etc. you will get a lot of everything, but you probably stay at the surface. So, I'd suggest to concentrate on one theme first...
