Are you using Windows XP? Is so...

I had the same problem... solution was to run dxdiag.exe and set sound acceleration to "No Acceleration" then it won't shutdown when the pirates show up. :biggrin:

U can take it to Normal Acceleration :wink:

In addition to lowering the hardware acceleration for your sound card, you can also try to lower it for your graphic card (in case the game crashes because of the videos). :wink:
