Anno Builder

:scratch: It has been some time since I tried to use the Anno builder and I have forgotten just how to do it. Can someone remind me? I have a campaign that I would like to try to do. Since I don't read German I am having a tough time figuring it out. Thanks for your help :biggrin:

@mamawagonburner: I never used that tool, but judging by the manual, you have to start it, then you have to fill in the name of the campaign ("Der Name der zu erstellenden Kampagne" - "The name of the campaign you are creating") and your name ("Verfasser" - "Author"), but that's optional. After that, you define the campaigne scenarios (left side of the menu, click on the folder icon to browse your Own Scenarios folder). You may then rename the scenario at the right side or amend the selected file by clicking on the folder icon bearing the red arrow. You have to combine at least two scenarios.

I suppose that you will get an *.exe file (setup.exe, I suppose) as a result, which includes the AnnoInstaller for installing the campaign.

For your reference, I translated the Annobuilder menu entries:

"Der Name der zu erstellenden Kampagne" - "The name of the campaign you are creating"
"Die Namen der Szenariodateien" - "The names of the scenario files"
"Name der Setupdatei" - "Setup file name"
"Beenden" - "Cancel"
"Info" - "About"
"Kampagne erstellen" - "Create Campaign"

I just realized your Mod powers might be board specific and thus you might not have that ability in the Inn! :blush:

That's right. I can move threads elsewhere from here (or from the TM section), but not from "outside" here.

I'm not sure yet :biggrin: I am still trying it out. Sometimes I think it too simple then later I think it is too hard :biggrin: I'll let you know later,ok? It's in 3 parts called Travelers and Pirates (1st part) Greed and War (2nd part) and Peace at last (3rd part)
