members im tired of seeing all those poltical-religious arguements. please stop them . this is koh forum not bbc or politics forum. please change to other topics . i mean like come on there is thousands of other fun topics to discuss then politics and religious. its not of selfish matters but im damn tired of politics and religious arguements in this forum . ive sen alot of them and some even left cause they were insulted. so please stop them.

First of all..this is no longer only KOH-forum :biggrin:

and..there is a special thread for political-religous discussing..and till now, exept one exeption :nono: , the discussion was rather by arguments, than by insulting :hello: ....so i guess it is a good discussion :hello: ..to be honest, few other things very so much discussed than politics and religion, because it is a great part of everybodies life..the discussion will go on a while, then we have enough of it and it will calm down for a while..and maybe sometime later.. the discussion will start again..as long as noone is insulted, i would say, that this is ok..and as we do it in a seperated topic, nobody has to read it, who is not interested... :go:

but apart from that..start a thread about something that you consider worth to be discussed and maybe i can add something to it... :scratch: :biggrin:

People can argue pacific in all these threads, but I can't watch how they begin to fight seriously and insult eachother! Do not feel the limits of how far they can go. What was happening in the already closed and deleted (that people could not see "how to do not discuss example") thread about new Pope!

Webmaster is really patient. In my case "crazy fighters" would be kicked out after one warning.

ok you got a point there but still , "KOH" ( i dont see any poltics or relgion in the meaning) forum isnt an arguement clash `n slash site. ok we might have politics everyday in life but hey ive never seen poltics ( real poltics not virtual politics as in koh ) in games :biggrin: :biggrin: .

TKS, We have an off-topic section, anything can be discussed there. We all just need to remember to start new threads for our discussions if our discussion is not going to follow the line of thread. That way those who want to join can and those that don't can stay away from them.

As long as discussions stay on arguments and not on insulting each other, I have no problemes with such discussion thread, so i will participate, if i am interested in the topic...

as you Roadrunner I have also deleted some of my posts before posting them :biggrin: as long nobody starts to insult each other i guess it is ok..and if not, webmaster and all other officials have the power to interfer, if someone isn´t able to hold his/her temper :go:

I have no problem with political/religion/anything else, arguements. Because I stay out of them. No is forceing someone to read them and as RoadRunner puts that you can save a lot of time by not reading those. So if you don't like them stay out of them. :cheers:

Edit: maybe webmaster could set up a rule that if it is an "arguement thread" that they should be carely posted as an "arguement thread" like Dobber did. That way everyone knows what the thread is about and if poeple want to post there let them, and if poeple don't want to let them ignor it.

why do all those discussions about serious topic need to be called Arguments?
I personaly like those discussions (mostly) it's good to know opinoins of people you disagree and to tell them yours. Sometimes it can open your eyes a little, one could get wider sight of those things.
But I never jion those discussions to argue and hope thet it's the same with others.
The world withuot serious discussions is a world of decadent entertainment and nothing all and IMO it's not good.
You may say this forum is not for these purpouses. I am not here to discuss such things, I'm here to meet friends like you and to talk about games. But if someone is curious what others think about the pope or sho, he shuold have right to ask!

Those topics shuold be rather labeled as "serious" than "arguments". That's how I see it

maybe it is just an wrong word, because argument in German has not the meaning of "fighting" or somethinglike that, it is just the ideas you bring forward in discussions...

I know that argument doesn't mean only fighting argue, but also exchange of opinions (arguments). But it strongly evokes it what I find... not very good.

what about "meltdown" or "zero hour"?
in the byline we can put a setence like "Danger: This is a high voltage and high emotion area with serious threads. Enter only on own risk"
