Problems when saving the game

Hi,i have a problem when i am saving the game, the game says "there is not enought space", but i have 1gb free, there is another problem the shut off some time from nowhere and i have the patch 1.03.So what can i do?

I am using WinXP service pack 2


P.S:i have C & D drivers and both i have enough space free
