Most propably the registry-keys weren't removed properly...
I am not on the right computer to check the exact paths for the regkeys, so will someone search them?

It's just under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Black Sea Studios if I remember correctly. Look around in there, last time I browsed in my registry, there was a 1.00 and 1.03 entries in there... try removing the 1.03, see if that helps.

I run into a major problem here...
<Technical stuff mode = on>
When the folder "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - Software - Black Sea Studios - Knights of Honor - 1.03" or the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - Software - Black Sea Studios - Knights of Honor - Patch000001" (or something like that) exists the patch-installer will believe the patch is already applied.
When this folder and reg-key is deleted the patch-installer will check for the md5-checksums of the files in "../Knights of Honor/packs", find them different to the expected ones (they weren't properly removed by the deinstall-programm), default to the error message "Knights of Honor is already installed" and terminate.
<Technical stuff mode = off>

I will remove and reinstall KoH now to see the way the patch is applied.

Okay, I understood the problem now.
Here's a howto:
1. Uninstall Knights of Honor (using the uninstaller, ask if you need instructions).
2. After that open your "Knights of Honor"-folder (the uninstallation didn't delete it) and remove the folder "packs" in it.
3. Insert CD1 of Knights of Honor and install Knights of Honor.
4. Execute the patch-installer.
5. Report to the forums if you still encounter problems.

I hope that works for you. :go:
