Restoring saved games

Hello everybody!

I installed Knights of Honor, and enjoyed it like none of my purchases since Europa Universalis. Excellent work, guys!
But a week ago, I had to format my main hard disk. I did it without too much fuss, because a installed KoH on a different drive, that remained unchanged, and hoped to be able to continue my mission to conquer Europe with Hungary, but I couldn't find, nor load my saved game. Is it somehow possible to recover it? In general, where does the game stores the precious saves?

saves are not in KoH root directories, but somewhere in Documents and Settings

Just check the hidden folders in Document and Settings. Your saved game must be in Application Data / Black Sea Studios / Knights of Honor.

Thanks for your help. As I formatted the active (Windows) partition, they're all lost. Rest in peace, my good old conquests!:((
Now, I'll start a new game, and fear no one!:)

Most newer games store the saved game files in the doc folder for xp. if you format then the files will be losted if you do not pull them to a disk/cd or a backup drive.
