Wouldnt it be a good thing if provinces had fixed trading resources with historical accurcy instead of the randomness that it is now?
Dont know if its possible to even do that but im willing to help if any modder wants to inplent this.

Maybe from a historical point of view, but it would be hard to do. Also, from a gameplay point of view, that would be terrible, since it would lead to some countries being "uber super countries" and others...not.

I see both sides. It does get annoying when you start as like Scotland and all you have is fish... you can't build ANYthing practically with like 1 province feature.

But also if it were fixed then like everyone would want to be Germany because they would have so many provinces they would be sure to have basically every feature.

I thought about mixture of realism and randomness:

for example Egypt will have 80% to have fertile soil, south Russina planes (Golden Horde) will have 80% for pasture, but only 20% for gameland, Bohemia 70% for silver etc

So when in Bohemia there were historically silver deposits, in the game there would be high probability, but also randomness would take it's place...

ufortunately I can't do this in my moding :(
